LoveFilm Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Live Director’s Commentary

Amazon’s LOVEFiLM is giving film fans the chance to get a unique insight into the creative minds behind one of last year’s biggest blockbusters, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, as it streams a live Q&A and interactive commentary event with the film’s director and screenwriter at LOVEFiLM.com.

On Monday 2nd July, members of LOVEFiLM – Europe’s largest subscription service streaming movies and TV episodes over the internet and sending DVDs by post – will be able to experience an exclusive live streaming of STUDIOCANAL’S BAFTA award-winning film along with its director Tomas Alfredson and screenwriter Peter Straughan. Viewers can stream the film on a split screen whilst watching the creative pair give a direct commentary as they view the film in real time alongside viewers.

Fans will have the unique opportunity to engage with Alfredson and Straughan throughout the live streaming, putting forward their questions to the creative pair via a dedicated chatroom, Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, adapted from John Le Carré’s best-selling cold war novel, tells the tale of espionage veteran George Smiley (Gary Oldman) as he is lured out of retirement to uncover a Soviet mole operating at the heart of MI6 and investigate which of his trusted former colleagues have decided to betray him and their country.
