We Are The Ocean Announce Tour Supports

We Are The Ocean have announced their support bands for their intimate tour of the UK and Europe this September. Joining them on the road in the UK will be positive punk/hardcore merchants, and long term friends of the band, Giants as well as good time rockers Great Cynics who met We Are The Ocean through sharing the same rehearsal space. Whilst out in Europe, Hassle Records label mates The James Cleaver Quintet will be providing their brand of ‘south coast weird-core’ as main support for the band on all dates.

The tour will see them going back into tiny venues they haven’t visited for a long time and will give fans an opportunity to see them in an intimate space. With the current trajectory the band are on this could be the last time you see We Are The Ocean playing these size venues ever again!

WATO has spent the past month holed up in a studio with Peter Miles (The King Blues, Canterbury) working on their third studio album. With details being locked into place for the record i think it’s easy to see the new chapter of We Are The Ocean is going to be the most exciting yet. The band are currently stateside on the epic Vans Warped Tour as a new look 4-piece and they’re already setting the new wheels in motion to become one of the UK’s biggest rock bands in recent years.
