On 10th September, The Moons release “Jennifer (Sits Alone)”, a dreamy ‘60s psychedelic-influenced single from their upcoming album Fables Of History. The second single to be taken from that album,“Jennifer (Sits Alone)” will be available as a download and as a limited edition 7” backed with an exclusive non-album track “It’s Too Late”.
The cover for “Jennifer (Sits Alone)” is the second installment in a trilogy of 7” singles (available in limited editions of 500), that when collected and assembled together willcreate a total and unique artwork.
Fables Of History, The Moons’ second album, is due for release on 24th September through Schnitzel Records. A 12-tracker that interweaves garage rock, glistening orchestrations and infectious rhythms, Fables of Love was recorded by EdwynCollins and Seb Lewsley over the course of three weeks at Edwyn’s West Heath Yard studio in London.
Fronted by singer, songwriter and guitarist Andy Crofts (usually found seated behind the Hammond organ in Paul Weller’s band), the full Moons line-up is centered around him and includes special guest Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene) appearing on guitar for the Old Queens Head gig in London.
