Warrington based Valve Rider are a raw, powerful, no-nonsense biker rock band in the classic sense, the kind of band that’s been missing for far too long now – ‘’start the engine – hear the roar’’
The four piece band delivers it all in dirty beaten up truck-loads, with their unique British brand of classic blues-drenched, biker hard rock.
Having played many biker festivals during their 2012 UK 'Burning Rubber Tour' already this year ahead of their storming debut album 'Bring It On Heavy' due out on September 2nd (Digital) September 3rd (physical) through Activemedia/ Universal) – DMVR-001 the band are currently working on their first video for the title track of the album
The band was formed by guitarist Nathan Moore, whose distinctive, virtuoso playing and song writing style acts as the bedrock upon which the band is built. Front man Adam Ward and his soaring vocals from the soul take this to the next level, with powerhouse drummer Lee Gallagher and his brother Sean on bass bringing in the thunder needed to complete the band’s full sound.
It was clear from the start that this combination of intense musicianship, great songs and tight performances on stage meant Valve Rider offered audiences something special. Being so musically in touch with each other allows for regular live improvisation, which plays a big part in the band’s overall sound and allows their live performances to always deliver a twist.
Likened to some of the greatest classic rock bands, Valve Rider manage to deliver a heavy new breed on stage, something more real, more individual and exciting to rock music.
