Sensorites: Fool

Sensorites' new single ‘Fool’ is set for release on 10th September and delivers in spades. That Mersey swagger, an ear for a melody and charming lyric is what these guys are all about. From the vibe of Cast, The La’s, The Zutons et al this group of brothers are a fine example of a modern day sounding take on all the above and, dare I say The Beatles too, who after all founded the Merseybeat sound.

Self released on their own record label Hollowhole Records, ‘Fool’ will have you tapping your toes and singing along as they bring yet another catchy tune out of their locker and into the headphones of many with ‘A Little Help From My Friends’…. See what I did there…

Founded by brothers Natham and Gareth Kirkham when they moved to Liverpool. They were soon joined by Ash Michael (Drums) and Kurt Riley (Guitar/Vocals) who they met whilst touring the Merseyside scene as a duo. They work and record at their very own studio called the ‘Batcave’ in Liverpool, which has helped Sensorites forge a coherent well grounded sound very much apparent in their seamless songwriting. Taking influences and lyrical wit from the likes of Scouse masters The Coral and the indie anthemic hooks of Oasis, the Sensorites are one to watch out for.
