Mothlite – Seeing in the dark

Dark and atmospheric, moody and introspective.

All of these are qualities that I favour in the music that I listen to.

Yet something about Mothlite’s latest single fails to light the blue touch paper for me.

I harbour no real negativity towards ‘Seeing In The Dark’, it rides along rather well, with a gloomy lurch from the onset and a vaguely eighties tinged sound that drops in and joins us for the four minute journey, but beyond that, my attention wanders, it even took me a few listens to pin down any talking points at all.

Please give it a listen, you may like it, but to be honest, I can barely remember it.
