Grandaddy legend Jason Lytle returns with this brand new video for Your Final Setting Sun , the first clip from the highly anticipated upcoming album by Grandaddy frontman JASON LYTLE is now online.
The new record is called Dept. of Disappearance and will be released on October 16 via Anti- Records.
LYTLE describes Your Final Setting Sun as “Kind of a fast paced western synth rock song. It s the one song on the album that had a film playing along in my head as I was writing it. The chorus came to me while I was driving down a deserted Montana road into a beautiful and spooky sunset.”
His friends from the Swedish band Division of Laura Lee played the bass drums and guitars on the track and he entrusted skateboarder/artist/filmer Mike Aho to create a nice video for it.
Lytle will be performing the songs of Dept. Of Disappearance live on a headlining tour starting this October. Sea of Bees will be joining him on all dates.
