Percy Gullivers Print Shop Opening Party featuring Hawk Eyes

Liverpool based screenprint gallery and music related craft shop Percy Gullivers holds its grand opening party this weekend at The Shipping Forecast in Liverpool. The spiritual home of Screenadelica, the travelling gig poster exhibition and brainchild of designer Gary ‘Horse’ McGarvey, this 100% free bash is without a doubt the meatiest treat in Merseyside this weekend and features performances from Leeds noise-behemoths Hawk Eyes, frantic freak show Jazz Hands and a host of friendly faces from the Liverpool music scene.

Drowned in Sound: It’s hard to see many albums topping Ideas this year for all-out power and intelligent aggression. It showcases a band realising their potential and expanding their sound across a number of different paths, but without losing any of the unwavering ferocity that made them such a potent force to begin with. In fact, were Ideas to convey only one message, it would be this: riffmageddon 2012 is here and Hawk Eyes are at the helm. You’d be well advised to get on board.
