‘HOLD ON’ OFFICIAL VIDEO TO BE SET LIVE MONDAY 8TH OCTOBER, 2012
Check out this sneak peak from behind the scenes on the shoot of video for upcoming single ‘Hold On’ that goes live on VEVO from Monday. The single will eventually be released on November 19th, 2012, via Search And Destroy Records.
After topping the official rock charts with the release of their debut album ‘Priorities’, home county rockers Don Broco are set to release their new single ‘Hold On’ on November 19th.
The track is the band’s unique take on modern-day dating, singer Rob Damiani said: “The idea for Hold On came about one particular night when I realised everyone I was out with was on the pull. I was bored of having no-one to talk to, so eavesdropped their conversations. The things people who have just met will say to get each other into bed is shocking. I was overhearing some pretty ridiculous chat up lines and didn’t want to forget them so text them to the rest of the band as it was happening. They had no idea what I was on about till the next morning. I think they still suspect I was coming on to them.”
The four-piece reached number one in the official rock charts with their debut album release through the newly formed ‘Search & Destroy Records’ – a joint venture between Sony Music and Raw Power Management.
Don Broco’s crossover appeal has quickly spread via word of mouth amongst fans online, with their penchant for catchy melodies and big choruses. Having released a mini- album titled ‘Big Fat Smile’ the band have received early support from BBC Radio 1’s ‘Introducing’, XFM, Kerrang! Radio, NME TV, Scuzz and Lava.
They also have extensive touring already under their belts; having played Reading & Leeds, Download, Underage, Sonisphere, Camden Crawl, Slam Dunk, Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, and Boardmasters festivals as well as sharing stages with Enter Shikari, Lower Than Atlantis, We Are The Ocean, Young Guns and Futures. This October and November the band will be hitting the road with Lower Than Atlantis in the UK and Young Guns in Europe.
