Michael Bublé has confirmed a landmark moment in his career with the news that he will play six nights at London’s O2 Arena in the summer of 2013. The series of shows marks the third longest run of dates ever performed at the venue by a male solo artist after Prince and Roger Waters, and represents his first shows here since he played twenty UK and Ireland arena and stadium shows in 2010. Michael Bublé tickets go on-sale 9am on Friday 2nd November.
Fast becoming an essential element of the festive season, November 19th will see Michael Bublé release a Deluxe Special Edition of his ‘Christmas’ album which spent three weeks at #1 as it raced towards 7 million global sales with 1.3 million of those in the UK. Packaged in a classy hot silver foil presentation, the Deluxe Special Edition adds Michael’s own Christmas greeting as well as four new bonus tracks: ‘The Christmas Song’; ‘Winter Wonderland’; ‘Frosty The Snowman’ (featuring The Puppini Sisters) and ‘Silver Bells’ (featuring Naturally 7).
In addition to the huge success of the ‘Christmas’ album, Michael Bublé’s 2009 studio album ‘Crazy Love’ has passed 7.6 million sales as his career total has exceeded the 40 million mark. ‘Crazy Love’ was also the 2009 Christmas #1 album and has spent almost two and a half years on the album chart. The album’s lead single ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ reached #5 and received over 120,000 plays on UK radio.
