DZ Deathrays Announce UK Headline Tour

The blistering heat of DZ Deathrays is coming to UK shores this week as the Aussie power duo kick off a tour starting with a London Halloween show before ripping though England and Scotland in a stopover that’s sure to be fuelled by chaos and alcohol.

With the unfortunate cancellation of the PABH tour that DZ were set to support on, Deathrays have stepped up their game, taken the bullet and shot it right back at us by sorting out their own headline shows that will see the band unleash their groove-laden shout along dirty electro-punk-rock-thrash-pop on the masses of the UK.

The release of DZ’s next mind-melting single ‘Cops Capacity’ falls slap bang in the middle of this tour. Taken from the debut LP ‘Bloodstreams’, it’s coming out on the 12th November through Hassle Records (Cancer Bats, We Are The Ocean, Turbowolf). Get to know it as it’s gonna’ be a set highlight. Written about a time where the cops shut down a raucous DZ house party, this track is both a badge of honour and letter of resentment that sums up the band perfectly in one song.

Filmed in Brooklyn, the video features two cops laying waste to the city with their own rules, with the ‘dogumentary’ culminating in the arrest of DZ Deathrays themselves. It’s just as explosive and controversial as the single.

Below are the dates at which you can expect to find DZ Deathrays ripping the UK a new one:
