On November 12th, Soft Bullets will be releasing their stunningly ambitious debut EP ‘Hyperreality’ through Township Music.
Soft Bullets are a transatlantic duo consisting of Chris Wall (UK) and Dan Capaldi (US) who produce melodic, addicting, and timeless yet undeniably current alternative indie that draw also on electronic, hiphop and progressive rock.
The EP consists of four tracks that offer ghostly harmonies and sleepy tempos abound, as the UK / Portland US duo conjure up an eerily haunting opener in ‘History: a memory’, a subdued chill out groove in ‘Another Chance’ and an atmospheric stumbling piano driven ballad in ‘Broken Circuits’. Whilst the weightless washed out beauty of ‘Hyperreality’ ends this ambitious EP with of moment of poignant infectious promise. Each track a testament to their musical philosophy of sound, textures, and arrangements.
To coincide with the release of their debut EP the band are also producing four music videos to support each track. Their first video for ‘Another Chance’ was released earlier this month.
Today the band have showcased the video for ‘Broken Circuits’ a stop frame animation which was written, directed and animated by Simon Harris and band member Chris Wall.
‘Hyperreality’ EP will be released on November 12th on Township Music and available as digital download via iTunes and as limited edition Vinyl where each track has its own separate artwork. The band will be on tour in the UK in November.
