Your Demise have just released their new music video for ‘Push Me Under’ showcasing the record’s darker, harder and more introspective edge.
To coincide with this latest snapshot of the band’s furious live show, Your Demise have also announced details of their next release. The quintet will return to Outhouse Studios, Reading in December with producer John Mitchell to record a brand new E.P.
This as yet untitled new E.P will be released in January 2013, and will mark the band’s first independent release since 2007, having now concluded their three album term with Visible Noise. Your Demise will collaborate with Leeds based D.I.Y label Pinky Swear Records for a limited edition 7” version of the EP, and with long term affiliates Music Glue and Impericon for the digital release and CD pressings.
“It feels so good to be fully in control of the destiny of our releases again”, says guitarist Stu Paice; “The Golden Age definitely marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our band, but now we get to combine the strength of these new experiences with our D.I.Y roots to shape the next stage. The best is yet to come!”
To support the E.P release, Your Demise will headline the UK in February 2013, and they’re enlisting the help of their friends from around the world to do so; joining YD will be hotly tipped Canadian hardcore band Counterparts and eclectic Japanese mob Fact, plus some special homeland guests, who will be revealed next week.
