To Kill A King Release ‘Ralph’s Balcony – The Collection’ In Aid Of Great Ormond Street Hospital

London’s To Kill A King yesterday released ‘Ralph’s Balcony – The Collection.’ Conceptualised by TKAK’s lead singer Ralph Pelleymounter, ‘the Ralph’s Balcony’ series featured collaborations from the likes of Bastille, Emily Wood, The Title Sequence, Youth Imperial, Professor Penguin, and We Were Evergreen – all taking place up on his 15th floor Shoreditch balcony.

The album is available via their Bandcamp page – link and can be purchased on a name-your-price basis. Any profits made will go to London’s Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital – dedicated to children’s healthcare, and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses.

Filmed over the past year, the series concluded in August with a grand finale featuring all of those mentioned above as well as To Kill A King themselves, performing an original and as-yet-unreleased new track called ‘Choices’. You can see the stunning performance in the video above.

2012 has been a busy one for To Kill A King. Aside from Ralph’s Balcony they have recently completed their second UK Headline tour, released the self-produced live six-track ‘Word of Mouth EP’, performed at Bestival, Wilderness and Field Day festivals amongst others, as well as continuing their program of ‘Guerrilla gigs’ – acoustic sets played nationwide in unusual and secret locations.
