It’s the 7th Day Of Glasswerk – where the hell is December going? – and our elves have been in touch with soulful chanteuse Josephine to find out what gets her swans-a-swimming at Christmas time…
If you could spend Christmas anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In bed
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Baby please come home – Darlene Love, (it’s the song at the start of Gremlins … in case you’re wondering).
Give us three things on your list this year.
Liz Arden 8 hour collection
Make up forever HD foundation
A travel pillow….Yes, I know it’s all a bit girlie.
Have you been naughty or nice, and what did you do to deserve the title?
Oooops naughty I think. Had a very exciting year, so naturally it involved lots of red wine, coffee and late nights.
Any favourite Christmas movies?
Elf, Love Actually, Gremlins and Lord of the Rings (you just have to image Gandalf in red instead of grey or white).
What’s the worst Christmas you’ve ever had?
In Manchester general hospital when my brother had a chest infection.
And the best?
Any spent at my mums house in Manchester.
Have you got anything out that people should put on their lists this year?
My album portrait came out in October. It would be a great stocking filler … Maybe not the vinyl though cause the stocking might look a bit square.
Who are you backing for Christmas Number 1?
Oh dear, well I’m afraid I lost interest in the christmas number one a long time ago and I don’t even know who’s in the running. Call it X factor syndrome.
Which day is better and why: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing Day?
Christmas day. No phone calls, no emails, just family and food.
The Queens Speech – yay or nay?
Why not, it’s quite relaxing.
If you could stock some awesome Christmas related merch, what would it be?
My album in a christmas bow.
Top 3 Christmas dinner components.
Besides the turkey?:
Roast potatoes, gravy and cabbage.
Josephine released her debut album, Portrait, on the 8th October 2012 through Rubyworks / Ark Recordings.
