Hey Sholay Announce New Single Wishbone
Hey Sholay have announced that the final single to be released from their debut album ((O)) is ‘Wishbone (Wish Wish Wish)’, released on the 28th January.
They’ve had a great year, packed with tours, festivals and brilliant reviews. They’re in the finishing stages of writing album number two, so here’s to 2013 being even better. For the uninitiated, Hey Sholay are a five-piece group of musicians, filmmakers and artists from Sheffield and Leeds, who play a breed of psychedelic independent pop with a hint of the Northern Lights captured in a jam jar.
Unfortunately, the band still haven’t been able to track down any of their equipment that was stolen last week, so are playing two shows with borrowed instruments. The first is tonight at Hoxton Bar + Kitchen in London (support from China Rats and Must). The second is in Sheffield at the Library Theatre on the 21st December (support from Harley Likes Music).
Hey Sholay would like to thank everybody that has shared the news of their recent theft. The support has been overwhelming.
