INTRODUCING: Glyphs

Continuing the current trend for shoegaze-electro are Glyphs, singer/songwriter Mark Walsh and producer Matt Wilkie – an electronic duo who originally hail from Liverpool and are now London based.

The paid have just released the video for new single Locks & Keys, with fuzzed out eletronic beats recalling the down tempo ambience of Four Tet and Animal Collective layered with an ethereal vocal that shows the more tempered influence of Mark Walsh on this interesting duo, who should be setting the blogs on fire this year if this offering is anything to go by.

The video was filmed in New York, London and Walton-on-the-Naze and was premiered by Clash.
