Crowns To Release New Single, Four Walls

Cornish rockers and exponents of fishpunk, Crowns, have been busy of late. And so they have sent us no less than ten pieces of news to pass on!

/ Crowns will be releasing ‘Four Walls’, a track now well established as a crowd favourite and taken from the band’s superb debut album ‘Stitches In The Flag’.

/ Release Date: 11th March 2013

/ Digital single (SW05D)

/ 2013 started with a rip-roaring UK tour with Dropkick Murphys, which saw our heroes play their biggest shows to date and going down an absolute storm in front of an overzealous crowd and the band running out of merchandise early on, due to demand and having to get another batch printed very quickly.

/ Just before Christmas, the band did a mini-UK tour for the Big Issue by Twitter, spreading awareness and also helping to highlight the plight of the homeless. They played at the paper’s distribution centres and busked their way from Glasgow to London, travelling by car and goodwill wherever they went.

/ Crowns will be headlining the Old Blue Last in London on Wednesday 20th February.

/ The band has prerecorded a Mike Davies Radio One Maida Vale session which will be broadcast to coincide with the release of Four Walls.

/ Crowns will also be playing at SXSW this year. This will be the band’s first American show.

/ ‘Stitches In The Flag’ is out now on the band’s own label… Ship Wreckords.

/ Go and see Crowns live! You won’t be disappointed.
