Canadian indie slackers Lab Coast head to the UK this May with single ‘For Now’ and a string of dates at Brighton’s The Great Escape and London’s The Lexington.
Their upcoming track ‘For Now’ is defined by smoke obscured rhythms and a sense of the 90s angst of Teenage Fanclub. It’s a song heavy on melodies, layered guitars and bustling rhythms, an effortlessly appealing track showcasing the band’s DIY aesthetic.
You can check out Lab Coast at The Great Escape (dates below). Chief song writers David Laing and Chris Dadge are supported in their live shows by friends from bands in Canada’s underground scene, giving their sets a communal feel.
