Is digi-folk a thing? It would appear so according to new Manchester-based alternative songwriter/producer Ben McGarvey, better known as Minute Taker.

Minute Taker’s sophomore album, Last Things, will be released on 15th April 2013 and is loaded with distorted beats, sweeping synthesisers and dense vocal layering. Several tracks see live instruments occupying the foreground with stark piano and string arrangements and the dark dream pop is beautifully woven with minimal electronica and haunting folk melodies.
