Hadouken: Track By Track Video For New Album

Hadouken! release their mammoth third album ‘Every Weekend’ this week on Surface Noise Recordings.

The band are currently making their way back from playing in front of huge crowds across three sold out shows in Russia this weekend (where they are currently number one in the iTunes dance chart) and have issued a Track by Track video today with front man James Smith taking you through the entire journey from start to finish.

Led by energetic single ‘Levitate’, (whose viral video has reached a ridiculous 47.5 million people over the last five weeks) ‘Every Weekend’ is the band’s most accomplished and convincing musical statement yet. Recorded in various locations, it features production contributions from the most cutting edge and successful names in modern Bass music, including Noisia, Loadstar, Aeph, Blokhead and Drumsound & Bassline Smith.

Right now, ‘Levitate’ holds the number 2 spot in the UK and Austrian iTunes dance charts, number 3 in Canada, Germany, the Czech Republic, number 6 in the US and 7 down under in Australia. All of this has now pushed Hadouken! into the top 15 of the iTunes album chart, and all via their own label.

Hadouken! occupy a completely unique spot in modern British music. They’re at the very forefront of UK Bass, the most exciting and dominant sound of the era, but they’re also a hair-raising live act who can get a hall packed with teenagers moshing and raving – often at the same time.
