Sheffield metallers Bring Me The Horizon’s brand new album Sempiternal is currently deadlocked for the top spot of this week’s UK album chart midweeks with US indie rockers Imagine Dragons.
Imagine Dragons are a mere 3,000 album sales ahead of the Sheffield band in this week’s official album chart stats, a fraction of the gargantuan sales that used to dwarf the top of the charts.
As a result of Sempiternal’s album-leak, the album release date was immediately brought forward to 1st April. The band are urging any fans who haven’t redeemed their pre-order download code to try and do so before the end of the week, as each download counts as a chart sale and will help put UK metal where it rightly belongs – at the top of the charts.
