Haddowfest, the one day music festival for Edinburgh now entering its fourth year, are branching out and starting a new monthly club night in the nation’s capital, Haddowfest Presents and are delighted to announce that headliners for their opening night in April will be the rather wonderful Meursault.
Haddowfest Presents… Meursault and friends will take place on 26 April at The Liquid Room and will be hosted by a man who knows more than a thing-or-two about Scotland’s music scene himself, Ally McCrae of Radio One’s BBC Introducing with Jen and Ally. Support acts just announced will be Withered Hand (solo set) and Lomond Campbell & River Of Slime (of FOUND).
Meursault come into 2013 on somewhat of a high after 2012 saw headline shows at Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall and London’s Islington Academy Hall and widespread critical acclaim for their third album, ‘Something For The Weakend’, released in July on Edinburgh-based Song By Toad Records.
Tickets for Haddowfest Presents…Meursault and friends are a mere £10 (plus booking fee. Age restriction: 16+. Doors: 7 pm
