Frontier Ruckus – Dealerships

Frontier Ruckus embraces nostalgia in their latest video for ‘Dealerships’.

Filmed in both 16 millimetre and HD video, the band directed the video with Frontier Ruckus bass player John Hanson to create a juxtaposition of hazy memories and surreal fantasies.

Scenes from the video were shot in and around Frontier Ruckus’ hometown of Sylvan Lake, Michigan. The childhood home of songwriter Matthew Milia, where his parents still live, serves as the exploded backdrop. Milia wears his grandmother’s nightgown when fighting band member Zach Nichols, who is in his old fencing outfit. To keep with the trend, the video was edited by banjo player David Jones’ brother-in-law Christopher Fetsch.

“We really kept this one all in the family and hopefully it has a nice incestuous idiosyncrasy for that reason,” Milia said.

Recently home from a month-long European tour promoting their new album Eternity of Dimming, Paste revealed that Frontier Ruckus are already recording demos for their fully-written fourth album.
