Based on folklore but full of modern kick, Keston Cobblers Club’s music is catchy and contemporary.

In 2010, siblings Matthew and Julia Lowe gathered school friends to revive the legacy
of the old struggling Cobbler of Keston and his foot – stamping, shoe – scuffing music club! With beautiful harmonies, an oom-pah tuba line and a mish – mash of other instruments, the Cobblers make music that will make you dance until your “shoes wear out”.

Their debut album ‘One, For Words’ was released to critical acclaim and achieved widespread praise from BBC Radio 2 and 6Music’s Steve Lamacq, Simon Mayo and Bob Harris amongst many other publications and blogs. They have recorded sessions for Bob Harris, Steve Lamacq, BBC Introducing, Burberry Acoustic, Daytrotter and have made many festival appearances and have played numerous sell-out shows.
