Daniel Johnston has announced a London live date, a special show at The Barbican, London on June 2nd to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his acclaimed ‘Hi, How Are You?’ album. He will be joined by a selection of special guests who will perform the classic album followed by a greatest hits set from the American singer-songwriter and artist. Support comes from a star studded lo-fi cast including Jeffrey Lewis, Emmy the Great, Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and more.
‘Space Ducks’ is Daniel Johnston’s first new album since 2009 and the soundtrack to his first ever published comic book, which is due for imminent release through Feraltone on April 29th. The soundtrack includes seven unreleased tracks by Daniel as well as new ‘Space Ducks’ themed tracks from Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Jake Bugg, Die Mason Die, Eleanor Friedberger, Deer Tick and Fruit Bats.
