Petite Noir aka Yannick Ilunga is to release his new single Noirse on July 8th. It’s a dark, shimmering production with plenty of tropical marimba and shuffling grooves that embrace and allude to his Congolese and Angolan origins.
The single features remixes from Deptford Goth, NUGUZUNUGUZU and Pional, and is also available from iTunes now. Ilunga has also just released the video for the track which was directed and produced by Tim Main in London.
It relives memories of a past relationship, with Ilunga and his screen partner performing against various scenes and locations as the camera tenderly picks up the subtle looks and gestures that mirror the mood of the song.
