Rod Stewart Ticket Demand Soars From No.1 Album Slot

Seatwave have announced that Rod Stewart ticket demand has risen 148% on the back of his recent No.1 album, the first in 34 years, according to ticket marketplace Seatwave. The aging crooner’s first album of new songs in 20 years, Time, entered at the top of the charts over the weekend, sparking a huge increase in demand for his UK tour.

Louise Mullock, spokesperson for Seatwave, said: “This has been quite a weekend for Rod Stewart, he has scored his first number one album for three decades and now demand for his tour is booming.

“Rod has a large fan base which has been reenergised by his new songs and now they are keen to see him perform. Put simply, fans have been reminded that he’s still got it.”
