Colour Of Bone – Itch

‘ITCH’ by COLOUR OF BONE (OFFICIAL VIDEO) from COLOUR OF BONE on Vimeo.

Alt-Rock-Pop act Colour Of Bone is proud to announce the release of its second single ‘ITCH’ on July 15th via A Black Lion Recording.

Having released first single ‘Low Mode’ to critical success, Colour Of Bone is garnering adulation online and on the airwaves. In a rave 4 star review, Artrocker described Colour Of Bone as “dazzling and excellent…. fuzzy-grunge guitar does not sound better than this”. BBC6 Music define the act as “sounding like God’s balls colliding”, while Vulture Hound Magazine proclaimed them “visually stunning and a never-ending spiral of addictive joy”.

‘ITCH’ is as brazen in its verses as it is hypnotic into its anodyne choruses. Synthetic drums pound and weave whilst stitching the track together, accenting syncopation as the vocal melts into the repose of the bass line’s robotic groove. The accompanying video, fraught with flashing microscopic organisms and slow-mo jellyfish, augments itself even beyond the song’s majestically euphoric outro.

‘ITCH’ is a modern, alternative sleight of hand on pop songwriting. Resolute and unrestrained in originality yet faithful to it’s influences.
