One of the most potent and powerful bands in modern American metal, The Devil Wears Prada, head back to the UK in October this year. Following their headline slot at GhostFest on June 30th, the band kick off this highly anticipated tour in Portsmouth on October 1st, and finish up in Sheffield on Oct 15th. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. on Tuesday 27th June 2013.
Following on from the release of their ‘Zombie’EP, and the anti-idolatry themed ‘Dead Throne’ album in 2011, both of which reached No 10 in the Billboard top 200; The Devil Wears Prada will release their as-yet-untitled new LP on September 16th via Roadrunner Records. The album was produced by Matt Goldman and TDWP, with Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage on executive producer duties.
Frontman Mike Hranica commented, “The new album has been another big step for the band, and our thoughts have been relentless in regards to releasing and playing the songs. With the UK’s terrific reception of Dead Throne, we’re looking forward to immediately coming back and debuting the new material that we’re so enthused with.”
