Milwaukee Banks – Pluto Bounce

Milwaukee Banks, comprised of Melbourne-based producer Edo (aka Adrian Rafter, Flight Tonight) and wordsmith Dyl Thomas (Polo Club), might just be the hottest collaboration we’ve heard for a while.

Edo’s incredibly rich mix of lazy down tempo hip-hop beats and intelligent production gels excellently with Thomas’ razor sharp vocal delivery and all things point to forthcoming single ‘Pluto Bounce’ being a red-hot benchmark of the duos future releases.

There are elements of rhythm and blues, hip-hop, UK-flavoured bass and post-dubstep to Edo’s sound reminiscent of more familiar names SBTRKT, Major Lazer and KIRA beats – in fact, a heavy UK sound persists throughout the single that lends this release an edge of underground credibility.

Milwaukee Banks are set to play a host of dates around the country in early 2014 and you can guarantee they’ll be blowing up in the next 12 months.
