Twee Hipster Klaxon Sounds As She & Him Release Christmas App

Oh Zooey Deschanel – we used to have such a big crush on you before you became such a ludicrous parody of your kitsch, nerdy self. What went wrong? We thought we were gong to love you forever but you just became too darn sickeningly sweet.

As we glide towards the end of yet another year, her side project with M Ward (She & Him) have released their very own ‘Yule Log’ app, available for free from the iTunes App Store.

For those that already have A Very She & Him Christmas, the entire album can be played back with an inviting log fire flickering onscreen.

We’re not really sure how high the demand is for this, but top marks for cashing in.

Volume 3 is out now, and includes the singles ‘I Could’ve Been Your Girl’ and ‘Never Wanted Your Love’.
