Download 2014 Reveals More Bands

Download Festival 2014 have unveiled yet more names on the metal-heads favourite weekend lineup.

Donington will be welcoming a whole new round of bands to the site next year including the mind boggling mathcore of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Volbeat, Suicide Silence, Buckcherry, Memphis May Fire, Battlecross, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, Arcane Roots, Thy Art is Murder, The Amity Affliction, Avatar, Lonely the Brave and Feed the Rhino.

Next year’s festival will also see the return of cult UK prog-metallers Sikth for a special reunion. Guitarist Dan Weller explained, “We’ve always said that one day we would get SikTh back together and do another show and next year just feels like the right time to stop the talking and do it. To be honest we really miss playing those songs.

“Our fans have been so loyal so it’s time to give them something back. We played Download in 2003 and 2006 so it seemed the obvious place for us to make a return.“
