Charlie And The Chocolate Factory Soundtrack Review

charlieThe Original London Cast Recording

A perfect gift for fans of the musical, I can imagine this being played on long car journeys keeping the whole family entertained. It works as a radio play, with connecting dialogue – it’s perfectly possible to follow the whole show with the album. ‘When Veruca Says’ is a real favourite and you can almost see Veruca on stage screaming at her poor bullied father.

It’s a lot of fun and I’m really impressed with how they’ve managed to keep the kinetic energy of a live performance. Prolong the memories of the show and have a go at learning all the songs, they’re really addictive.
