Mountain Bird - Don't Mind
Single Review

Mountain Bird – Don’t Mind

This new one from Swedish dream-poppers Mountain Bird caught our ear today, majestically soaring all the way into our inbox from Stockholm of all places.

The multi-talented wizard behind the curtain is main vocalist, songwriter, arranger and producer Adam Ohman, who seems to have a real knack for layering delicate, expansive pianos, guitars and synthesizers to create a grand, cinematic feel that’s typically Scandinavian.

Whilst this style of pop is very a la mode in their native country, there’s no denying that Mountain Bird are executing their take on it clinically – this is heady stuff, like a big wintery hug from Sigur Ros at an Of Monsters And Men concert.
