Breton Announce “”War Room Stories”” Album Stream

Breton in partnership with Carhartt WIP have announced an album pre stream campaign for their much anticipated forthcoming second album ‘War Room Stories’, due for release on Cut Tooth/Believe Recordings on 3rd February 2014.

Fans can listen to the exclusive pre stream by scanning a QR Code embedded in posters around three major cities, London, Paris and Berlin. By scanning the code via their mobile phone they are given access to the full album to stream ahead of its release.

The band will reveal the locations of exclusive ‘listening points’ via an interactive map powered by Google Maps, which is housed on the bands site as an extension of the URL http://bretonlabs.com/warroomstories. It goes live on 27th January 2014.

Fans will be able to share this via social media and the map will also contain a pre order button to purchase the album.

‘War Room Stories’ was written during a year spent touring incessantly and playing festivals across the world. It was recorded last summer at the Funkhaus in Berlin – a building with the same otherworldly weirdness as Breton’s beloved creative HQ, The Lab, which was demolished last summer to make way for luxury flats.

Located in the highly industrial Mitte district of the city, Funkhaus Studios used to house 3,000 communist workers who would write and broadcast propaganda in the form of news and drama to the entire Eastern Bloc and is fitted with all the trappings of the former sound effects studio – a fact that proved perfect for Breton’s innate inquisitiveness.

Breton will play the following UK dates:
March 3rd – Bristol, Louisiana
March 4th – Manchester, Soup Kitchen
March 5th – London, Village Underground
