Los Angeles duo No Age have unveiled the video for ‘I Won’t Be Your Generator’, the latest single from the Sub Pop-signed pair’s fourth full-length, An Object.
The clip, which is rich in the sort of lo-fi grain that would see it fit nicely alongside classic early Sub Pop videos from Thee Headcoats, Tad and Seaweed, was directed by visual artist Oliver Payne.
Focusing on a series of black textures, its abstract visuals perfectly mesh with the minimalist, countercultural nature of An Object’s overarching ambitions, alongside the DIY nature that saw the band packaging and sending out the record with their own four hands.
An Object is available now on Sub Pop.
