Since 2007 Redfest has been welcoming festival goers from across the UK and Europe with open arms, and championing some of the best up and coming UK music talent. Now in its 8th year Redfest returns in 2014 with what is hoped will be their finest venture yet.
Set across 2 days and 3 stages, Redfests searches to bring festival-goers the best in a diverse mix of rock, indie, pop, acoustic and dj/dance acts.
In 2013 Redfest introduced a stage dedicated to alternative rock, metal and hardcore. It was a bold move for a festival typically known for its strong indie and pop rock line ups, but it paid off, with the 1600 capacity tent receiving decent sized crowds all weekend, and seeing some incredible performances from the 22 bands who graced the stage.
The RAWR tent is back this year with the line-up announced below:
It may surprise some to find a band like Welsh pop rock gods The Blackout headlining such a billing, but with so many crossover vibes and mashed genres going on over the whole weekend we are confident of a great reception. And a very full tent.
We also welcome London hardcore troupe TRC, and Milton Keynes metallers Heart of a Coward, as our main supports, with Heights, The Dirty Youth, Lostalone, Polar, Baby Godzilla, Astroid Boys, The Catharsis, Slaves, The One Hundred, and Rat Attack also on the billing.
Completing the lineup are Skies in Motion, Fathoms, Collisions, When We Were Wolves, Aurora, Our Hollow Our Home, A Moment Lost and Set Your Sails.
