Listen To Debut Single From Cash + David

Funn (out March 10) is the first track to emerge from Cash+David. If asked to describe their sound, the London-based pair might tell you “Singing ‘Like A Virgin’ in a desert karaoke booth, with Sleigh Bells on percussion and M83 on guitars”. Regardless, Funn’s sinuous meld of crunch guitar and disembodied vocals feels indicative of the vibrant electro we can expect from the enigmatic duo in 2014.

A self-billed ‘co-operative garage band’, Cash+David share all writing, production and mixing credits across their material, and are just as likely to draw inspiration from the Beastie Boys and The Knife records in their collection, as Tom Waits and Shostakovich.
