Bpitch Control Records Announce April London Showcase
GoMad Events, in collaboration with DeepBrass Production, are proud to announce another massive London showcase, at Electric Brixton.
Taking place on Friday 11th April 2014, the famous Berlin-based, electronic record label, BPITCH CONTROL, who helped launch the careers of popular electronic artists such as Modeselektor, Apparat and Paul Kalkbrenner, will showcase 5 of their most prominent artists. This line-up will also include the label’s founder Ellen Allien, who will be doing a 3-hour DJ set.
In 1999 Ellen Allien created an island of creativity in the centre of Berlin and its turbulent techno movement. In the years that followed, Berlin became a global magnet for art and club culture, and the result of this was two-fold; the label’s artists became known well beyond the city’s limits, and the roster absorbed more international talent.
Since the mid 2000s BPitch Control has been regarded as one of the city’s most important emblems, maintaining global friendships and relationships, organising regular showcases on several continents.
