New Fiction (Universal) signings Little Matador have just announced a new run of UK headline tour dates, alongside a London Shepherds Bush Empire support slot with Band of Skulls on March 27.
The shows come ahead of the release of the rockers’ debut single & album through Fiction in 2014- more details on that very soon. Having recently toured with Queens Of The Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails and Jimmy Eat World, Little Matador are about to step out on their own with a UK headline tour.
Channeling the scuzz and potency of QOTSA, the knowing way with a melody of Arctic Monkeys and even the twisted darkness of Girls Against Boys, Little Matador join the likes of Band Of Skulls and Royal Blood in championing a new breed of raw rock music full of swagger and integrity.
Formed by guitarist and frontman Nathan Connolly and boasting members who all have heritage in critically acclaimed bands, Little Matador come bursting out of the blocks with a soon-to-be-revealed debut album that’s an urgent, impassioned and undeniably thrilling snapshot of a band getting high on volume, fuzz, adrenaline and a shared passion for heart-stopping, breath-robbing rock ‘n’ roll.
Ahead of that release Little Matador will be snarling away with conviction at the following shows:
