Following a stormer of a show at London’s Borderline supporting Rise To Remain, which saw the assembled crowd chanting the band’s name with rigour, IDIOM have announced a new slew of dates across the country in May. They have also broken the traditional label cycle and have started giving away their music through 2014 with Metal Hammer magazine with a series of three separate cover-mount EPs ahead of their first album release. First EP ‘Movement’ was first released on the last issue of Metal Hammer through issues available in Asda and will also be available on the next issue, this time with their WHSmiths stock.
“’Movement’ is about constantly striving for what you want and dream,” says Idiom guitarist Kris Gibbz of the first EP which is in stores now with the latest issue of Metal Hammer and can be streamed online here. “Each song has its own journey and meaning to all of us but we’ve been the same four members for the whole of Idiom’s existence and we’re closer than ever. This is just the beginning of that movement.”
