We’ve already enthused about the new tune from The Kooks this week and now you can plug your eyes into this garish new video for latest single ‘Down’.

Lukey Kook manages to just about avoid looking like a drunken uncle in this one as the band groove around in what looks like the Jeffrey scene from Get Him To The Greek, but we’re still digging the new direction.

A little bit of hip, quite a bit of hop, and some white boy bop.
