Fresh Chops: Fight Like Apes
OK, so Dublin based Fight Like Apes might not be brand new but it’s been a while since we’ve had any new music from them, and the video for Crouching Bees is literally right out of the oven, so they qualify (in a kind of cheating way) for a Fresh Chops today. That and we just really like them.
FLA are back with their first release since ‘The Body of Christ and the Legs of Tina Turner’ with another superbly titled record in the form of the ‘Whigfield Sextape EP’, due out on Alcopop Records later this year.
Plenty of trademark keys and guitars still on show, and all the usual oddball lyrics, but there’s definitely something a little wiser about this new material. The band are back on the road in May – check out the full dates below.
