Chad VanGaalen Unleashes New Track Monster

Acoustic weird-pop songwriter Chad VanGaalen has released another quirky slice of other-wordly pop in the form of ‘Monster,’ the new single from his forthcoming album, Shrink Dust, out April 28th on Sub Pop.

The Calgary singer/songwriter will be hitting UK shores later this year following a US tour in May and VanGaalen will be releasing Shrink Dust on CD / LP / DL. It was produced by the man himself at his Yoko Eno home studio in Calgary, Alberta.

Effortlessly cool as always, check out the strangely alluring warble of the vocals and the oddly cute reference to the difficulties of living with being a scaly, horrific beast – part The Shins, part Adams Family, all kinds of good.
