John Illsley Launches Pledge Music Campaign and Charity Fundraising

Multiple Brit & Grammy award winner John Illsley returns in June with a new studio album ‘Testing The Water’. Prior to its release, the former Dire Straits bass player has launched a Pledge Music campaign to raise money for Anthony Nolan. The charity is the world’s first bone marrow register which matches remarkable people willing to donate their bone marrow to patients in desperate need of a transplant.

In addition to being able to order a signed copy of John’s new album ‘Testing The Water’ fans will be able to buy a range of other exclusives including handwritten lyric sheets, a signed acoustic guitar especially chosen by John, Dire Straits memorabilia and even the chance to play a round of golf with him.

John is also a respected painter with shows in galleries in Britain, Australia and America. Fans can purchase limited edition signed prints of his artwork and even an original charcoal sketch of the bidder.

All funds raised after costs are met will go to Anthony Nolan (More information can be found at http://www.anthonynolan.org)
