Ecuadorian Beatles Fanclub Etch McCartney Logo Onto Mountain, Obviously

Former head Beatle Sir Paul McCartney played his first ever concert in Ecuador this week at the Estadio De Liga in Quito and was greeted by a special message from the locals.

Authorities teamed up with the Ecuadorian Beatles fan club to greet Paul by creating a giant logo for his latest album ‘NEW’ on the Pichincha Mountain, an Ecuadorian landmark. The logo could be seen across the entire city.

At an elevation of 9,350 ft (2,800 metres above sea level) it was the highest concert McCartney has ever performed.

Later this week he will perform in Costa Rica for the first ever time.
