Tom Vek returns this June with his third album ‘Luck’ and has just unveiled the video for first single titled ‘Sherman (Animals In The Jungle)’, a high-horsed comment on our state of moral ambivalence.
Luckily for him, the track’s a banger and we can forgive his slight lyrical pretentions when the groove on this angry-funk monster is so damn good.
The video, which you can check out below, was filmed at Town Hall Hotel, Bethnal Green, in Vek’s native London.
Vek commented on the new album:
“I play all the instruments to a basic level, enough to explore something enough to be surprised with an outcome, this includes the computer as an instrument, so it’s like Pro Tools garage-rock I guess.”
‘Luck’ is out June 10th on Moshi Moshi
