Yorkshire’s hippest event on the musical calendar, Beacons Festival, have revealed details of a special performance with British Sea Power.
The band will open the main stage by playing an exclusive live soundtrack to the award winning film, From The Sea To The Land Beyond. Made from over 100 years of British Film Institute archive footage, award-winning director Penny Woolcock’s critically acclaimed film is a portrait of our unique British coastline and the role it plays in our lives.
The event takes place over the weekend of the 8th August in the Yorkshire Dales and has also added performances from Joan As Police Woman, Sheffield’s 65DAYSOFSTATIC, Nottingham’s Indiana, Australian thrash pop duo DZ Deathrays and more.
