Glitterbug Releases Beautiful Atmospheric Landscapes Video For Dust

Glitterbug (aka Till Romann) is set to release his 4th album “Dust” via Gold Panda’s NOTOWN Recordings this June, and you can check out the video for the title track below.

Full of ambient, slow burning techno, the latest video is a perfect match and was shot in the arid valley of the Owens River in eastern California in late 2013 and directed and edited by Ronni Shendar.

The bleak, beautiful majesty of the expansive mountain ranges and bare desert landscapes are a perfect metaphor for the sleepwalking menace of Romann’s sprawling electronica.

I wanted to create a video that seemingly takes place over a colossal time span,” says Ronnie Shendar “I suppose it’s not very ‘music-video’ like in the classical sense… I used video similarly to how I work with photography and print, focusing on textures and canvases rather than movement. To me, this place where the span of earth’s time is so visible, resonated very well with the mood of Dust.
